Story Book Silliness

There was a temporary exhibit at Botanica called Storybook Village, with little interactive scenes from nursery rhymes and fairy tales.  It was simple and seemed to be for very young children, but my girls loved it!

They weren't too excited about the Three Bears...
...or the Three Little Pigs...
...but Jack's house was fun.  We watched the beanstalk "grow" through  the roof and sat on his poor cow.  (One of the best benches ever!)
What the girls really loved was a barrel of costumes and props for acting out the stories.  They started trying things on and silliness ensued.  Piggy Princess, anyone?  How about Little Red Riding Hood?

Katherine spotted wolf accessories and was instantly inspired.  She decided she wants to be a wolf for Halloween.  Rachel can be Little Red and Granny can be Granny.  Wouldn't that be fun!
Now we just need to find some furry gloves and a wolf snout!
